White Heat Records are pleased to announce the imminent release of One More Grain’s second album, ‘Isle of Grain’. The record follows swift on the heels of acclaimed debut ‘Pigeon English’, which emerged on Victory Garden Records (discoverers of Hot Chip) this April. Their Ubu / Can / Roxy / Wyatt / Eno / Davis-influenced sounds of brass, narrative vocal, skewed rhythms and atmospheric drones were praised to the heavens by the press and fans (including Scottish crime novelist extraordinaire Ian Rankin) alike.

The ‘Having A Ball’ single will be accompanied with a video by rising directorial star Dave Ma (Foals, ddd), and the band are recording a session with Xfm’s John Kennedy on November 5th. One More Grain are currently in the process of arranging three traditional songs from around the globe for an EP to be release next spring, and writing third album ‘Grain Fever’.
